Our Programs

Mobile Drop Drive-Thru Pantry
Our Mobile Food Drop is a Drive-thru pantry which takes place on the 2nd Saturday of each Month. This is where Second Harvest brings a box truck filled with Pallets of food and we distribute it from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. It’s on a first come, first serve bases until the food runs out. We serve an average of 450 - 500 Families per Month within a 2 Hour period.

Weekday Pantry
The Weekday Pantry is on the 3rd Thursday of each month and it’s by appointment only. The food distribution starts at 2:30 PM - 4 PM and registration opens up 3 - 5 days prior to the pantry event. It differs from the mobile food drop as pre-registration is required since we have a limited amount of food available to give out. It also takes place inside the building (No Drive-Thru).

School Pantries
Our School Pantry program are small pantries set up with-in the school designed for children and students dealing with food insecurity. With this program, students are able to take home snack packs or backpacks with food to make sure they have something to eat overnight and during the weekend. We also help supply backpacks and other resources.

F.I.T Program
The AVOS F.I.T Family Program is designed to assist F.I.T families (Families in Transition) who may be living out of their cars or staying in hotels by providing some of their essential needs in order to help them sustain during their transition. As an organization, we provide clients with Groceries, Baby Clothes and Diapers, School Uniforms, Backpacks with School Supplies, and other toiletries.
