School Pantries: A Lifeline for Students in Need

For many students, hunger is a daily struggle that affects their ability to focus and succeed in school. School pantries provide a vital solution, offering free, accessible food to those facing food insecurities. With the help of our supporters, AVOS has been able to help set-up and support 3 school pantries in the Kissimmee area. We are going the extra mile to meet the needs of some of our F.I.T Families and students dealing with food insecurities.


By ensuring students have reliable meals, these pantries help improve concentration, academic performance, and overall well-being. They also create a sense of dignity and support within the school community.


Expanding and supporting our school pantries is essential. Whether through donations or advocacy, we can all play a role in making sure no student has to learn on an empty stomach.

Andrea Braun
(President/Founder)

     Andrea Braun is a native from the city of Newark, NJ who currently resides in Kissimmee FL. She started her own Non-Profit organization called Anointed Victorious Outreach Services aka AVOS in 2019. She is also a board member of Speak the Truth Ministries since 2014. She specializes in the operations of a food pantry through management, developmental training, and the implementation new procedures to help the organization operate more efficiently. She has multiple years of experience through organizing her own food drives for different non-profit organizations, creating and distributing food packages, as well as volunteering at food banks such as Boca Helping hands (Food pantry based out of Boca Raton FL) and other food pantries for multiple years.  She has served many years in the food industry holding management positions and doing administrative work for other not-for-profit establishments such as United Cerebral Palsy which is close to her heart due to her own personal disability. She prides herself in being able to help others by giving out food baskets and serving warm meals to those in poverty as the area she grew up in was filled with it.
