Truly Amazing Backpack Event

4th Annual Back to School Event Recap – Over 400 Backpacks Given Away! 🎒✨

On Saturday, July 26th, 2025, AVOS and Kingdom Life hosted our 4th Annual Back to School Event—and it was a huge success! This special day was all about preparing our kids for the school year while bringing the community together for fun, laughter, and plenty of memories.


We are thrilled to share that we were able to give away over 400 backpacks filled with school supplies to students in need. Every child deserves to start the school year confident and ready, and thanks to the support of our volunteers and sponsors, so many families were blessed with the tools their children need to succeed.

But this day wasn’t just about school supplies—it was also about family fun!


Families enjoyed:

🍧 Snowcones to keep cool

🎈 Bounce houses and games that kept the kids smiling

🎁 Giveaways and raffles throughout the afternoon💦 And to top it all off, we ended the day with an unforgettable foam party that had everyone laughing and dancing!

Events like this remind us of the power of community. When we come together, we can make a real difference in the lives of children and families.

Andrea Braun
(President/Founder)

     Andrea Braun is a native from the city of Newark, NJ who currently resides in Kissimmee FL. She started her own Non-Profit organization called Anointed Victorious Outreach Services aka AVOS in 2019. She is also a board member of Speak the Truth Ministries since 2014. She specializes in the operations of a food pantry through management, developmental training, and the implementation new procedures to help the organization operate more efficiently. She has multiple years of experience through organizing her own food drives for different non-profit organizations, creating and distributing food packages, as well as volunteering at food banks such as Boca Helping hands (Food pantry based out of Boca Raton FL) and other food pantries for multiple years.  She has served many years in the food industry holding management positions and doing administrative work for other not-for-profit establishments such as United Cerebral Palsy which is close to her heart due to her own personal disability. She prides herself in being able to help others by giving out food baskets and serving warm meals to those in poverty as the area she grew up in was filled with it.
